About Me

Elysabeth Williamson

Like many others, I was born into challenging life circumstances. At the same time, I was born blessed with a natural and intuitive understanding of the ancient science of Yoga. The practice and teaching of Yoga have served me and many others throughout my life.

Although I have been a Yoga teacher for over 35 years, I also suffered personally from the belief that my early childhood conditioning had damaged me forever.

There has been a part of me that believed that I was essentially unsafe and unloveable because this is how I felt throughout much of my childhood.

As a result of the relational challenges I witnessed in myself and those around me, I was inspired to develop Principle-Based Partner Yoga. It is a practice that awakens our innate capacity for trust, openness, compassion, and intimacy.

My focus currently is on emotional resiliency and I am writing my second book on this topic. Learning to be with all of my emotions skillfully has been the greatest challenge and liberation in my life.

I am honored and inspired to support others who may be suffering from painful thoughts and feelings that seem to be preventing them from living joyful and fulfilling lives.

As part of my exploration of what liberates us to live freely, I have delved deeply into death and dying. I believe this is one of the most potent explorations we humans have for recognizing the eternal nature of our being. If you or a loved one is facing death, feel free to reach out to see how I may be of service.
